July Update

We really haven't done a whole lot this month, between the heat and being sick...  But time does seem to fly by!!

We had these cute little critters running laps around the house and chasing each other.  As long as they stay out of my garden, we'll be good!

Tis the season!  We've been busy "putting up" all the fresh produce in the area we can get our hands on!  Our freezer is full of corn and peaches of all kinds and now we have our favorite dilly beans (pickled, dilled, and hot, green beans).  Yummmmm!

Guess who packed this one (both hot cherry peppers and red pepper flakes!!).

Yesterday Matt Brady, our friend and my ex co-worker from Bella Napoli stopped by for a quick visit on his way to Portsmouth, VA.

Rhododendrons In Bloom!

Our wild rhododendron bushes (trees!) have been blooming for the past couple of weeks now, beautiful!

We also "finished" (I don't think we'll ever be finsihed) up with the front yard, most of it anyway.

More rhodys...

We still need to finish the right edge of this side.  But it looks good for now!

We found a birds nest hidden in the back of the BBQ... At least the flowers still look good.

Even more rhodys!
