Seattle Mariners Baseball

Sooooo, apparently I left my camera on this morning while I was uploading the last group of pictures... Yup, dead camera when we got to the field!  Thanks for the pics Ty!

Me and Stu in front of the biggest score board in baseball.

 Me, Stu and Tyler.

Me and Ty with the football stadium in the back.

A great day, the Mariners actually won, and Logan got to run the bases after the game!

I'm hoping it's just dead batteries and not a dead camera...we'll see in a few hours!

Grandpa Time!

We took the ferry over to downtown Seattle Friday afternoon, check out these creepy jellyfish!

The water looks nice and clean, I'm guessing it's pretty cold though!

On our way...

The weather has been amazing!

Story time with Logan.

Mill Creek has lots of parks...

This one has ducks!

We are off to watch a Mariners game this afternoon, it's going to be sunny and about 75 degrees...perfect!

Together Again

A nice relaxing day with old friends yesterday!

Larry and Stu hanging out in the front yard.

Me and Rosa in the kitchen!

We are making risotto al pescatore (rice with seafood),

And peperoni ripieni (stuffed peppers), so yummy!

Stu's youngest son Tyler joined us for dinner, he is staying close by to do some crabbing.  So after dinner we all went to see what he caught.  That's Stu watching Ty in the boat ready to head out.

The Seattle skyline from across the waters of Puget Sound.  Beautiful!

Our old friends from Naples, Zena, Dennis, Rosa and Larry, relaxing on the deck.

There he goes!

Waiting patiently...

The skyline again with the Space Needle on the left side.

He's back with sad news...  He lost a crab pot and only got one keeper.  That's ok, the view and company was worth the trip!

Are you looking at me???

This is where Ty is staying.

Saluti!

We are headed North today to spend the weekend with Stu's oldest son Matt and his family.  Grandpa time!

Pizza, Pizza, Pizza!

We arrived in Seattle yesterday, a little road weary, but happy to be here!  We are staying with our friends  from Naples, Larry and Rosa, they live just outside of Seattle.  They spend 6 months in Naples (Rosa is Italian) and 6 months in Seattle.  We had traditional pizza for dinner, yahoooo!  It's been a long time!

Our pizzaiola, Rosa.

Awesome!  We have got to get one of these!

Now that's pizza Italian style!

Disaster!

A few days ago, I made a couple of loaves of the good Italian bread...  This batch turned out great!

Unfortunately we were in such a hurry that morning to do something, I can't even remember what it was, we left the last batch in the oven for about 3 hours at 450 degrees... Eeeeek!

Note to self....

Twin Lakes

This past weekend we went back to the Twin Lakes campground on Lake Hartwell with our friends and neighbors Rob, Melanie and their three kids.  This was their first trip in their new motor home, so we were more than happy to go with them for their maiden voyage.

It was hot and humid, but we had a nice breeze coming off the water.

Bottoms up!

Saturday morning was beautiful, if not hot...  The campground had a nice beach, although it was a pretty good trek from our site.

Then there is this...  A really good storm moved in.  That's Stu pointing at a drip in the awning.

My camera was inside nice and cool, my lens kept fogging up, so I've got some fuzzy shots.

Awesome...

Zoe splashing in the mud puddle.

Stu, Mel and Zoe checking out the water after/during the storm.

Danny, Mel and Zoe.

The waters great, come on in!  And we all did...

That will make a good mess of things!

So happy the rain stopped!

Now, back to the fire and s'mores!

Sunset after the storm.

Lights up...check.

Fire roaring...check!

And a good time was had by all!  Our summery white sangria turned to red...

Happy Campers!
Cece, Danny, Zoe, Rob, Mel, me and Stu.

We are off to Seattle tomorrow!  Yahooo!
