Yesterday was crazy! It was beautiful in Barcelona when we left, sunny and warm. Our day started, taking a taxi to the bus stop, the bus to the airport, a plane to Rome, a bus to the main train station, the metro to get close to the hotel and walked the rest of the way in the rain...Whew!
Once we got to the Hotel Taormina and got settled in we marched off again to a wonderful restaurant recommended by the hotel staff. The Trattoria Morgana has great typical food and to top the evening off we had a star sighting!
Willem Dafoe came in to pick up dinner...very cool!
