Take me out to the ballgame! Last night we went to see the Smokies a AA affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, play the Jacksonville Suns an affiliate of the Florida Marlins.
In the Kids Zone they had a booth set up to clock the speed of your pitches...
For it's one,
Two,
Three strikes, you're out!
Akashi did better than a lot of the adults that were trying (including the ones on the field)! 65, not too shabby!
And the Smokies won, 5 to 4!!
Fireworks Friday! They had a great fireworks display!
And to top off Akashi's "perfect" day...we went to McDonalds.
