We fired our roofers on Tuesday. Just glancing at the roof, it looks pretty good. But the more we started to really look at it, the more upset we got. It's a metal roof and already dented and scratched and cut either crooked or too short. So we think the new roofing team will show up today, we'll see how this crew does.
That piece screwed on at the bottom of the eve isn't supposed to be there, and this is on the front of the house!
This is the stack of material (a lot of that is mud from the rain), you can easily see the long white scratches...they are everywhere.
Ok, enough of that... On to the forward progress. We finally picked out our wood stove.
A half wall was added to the guest porch and Stu later added some gravel to raise it up a bit.
Same thing on the front porch.
The fireplace was framed up,
The garage,
And we added a corner seat in the master shower.
Yes...it's true! We did get some window/doors in yesterday...unfortunately they are all for the apartment above the garage.

There are rumors of carpenters, plumbers, electricians, roofers, etc., we'll see what today brings us!
