On the road again!

We left Everett, Wa this morning and went across the Cascade mountain range headed for Eastern Washington. 

The views were amazing, unfortunately there aren't any scenic turnouts.  So here are a few shots through the windshield...












This is the ski resort on top of Snoqualmie Pass which divides the East and West sides of Washington State.



The East side of WA was a surprise to me, it looks like a desert!






Once we got closer to Spokane, we saw a couple of groups of deer, this one was trying to get to some crabapples.







So we are all checked into the lodging on Fairchild Air Force Base just outside Spokane.  Boy the AF really knows how to take care of their people...this base is really nice.  It took us about 6 hours to get here, not too bad, we've had worse and we aren't done yet...Tomorrow we are off to check out the condo in Spokane that Stu bought years ago but has yet to see....
